21 Find Your Card


Effect: Find the chosen card from 21 cards

Method

  1. Choose the first 21 cards out of the deck, in any order, perhaps you have a ace of spades, 10 of jacks, etc...
  2. Lay the cards on the ground(facing down), and have them choose one, look at it, and put it back in the pile. you can look at what the person does, but not to look at the card chosen.
  3. Separate the first three cards into 3 different piles, facing up. and add one card (facing up) at a time to each pile. that making 7 cards in each of the three piles.
  4. Have the person tell you what pile it is in, not the card. and pick up the other two decks, one in each hand, and place the pile they said their card was in, in the middle. so one of the piles down, then their pile, then the other. you repeat this 2 more times.
  5. After that being done, you place the 21 cards in your hand, without shuffling, and count off ten, placing them face down on the surface in which you are on, and hold up the 11th card counted asking, "is this your card?" if they say yes, you have succeeded, if they say no, you have failed your trick, and try again!! enjoy!!!!

Mental Agility


This mathematical trick can be performed with any pack.
Effect: The magician can reveal a chosen card even when it is selected with his back turned.


Method: Get a spectator to think of a number between one and 10. Then ask him to shuffle the pack (this can be be his own if you like) and get him to count down to the number thought of and make a note of the card but to leave it in the same position. Get him to do this while your back is turned.

After he has done this, turn around and take the pack placing it behind your back then rapidly count off 19 cards and as you do so reverse their order replacing them on the top of the pack. As you do this, say that you will put the card at number 20.

Finally, bring the pack from behind your back and ask the spectator which number he thought of -- for example if it was a five then begin your count with in this example 6 dealing the cards one at a time. When you reach 20, get the spectator to name his card and when you turn it over, to his amazement, it is his card.

As Many As You


Effect: The magician can reveal the exact number of cards taken by a spectator.

Method

The magician asks a spectator to take a few cards from the top of the pack but to conceal them from the magician to the extent that the neither the performer nor the spectator can tell how many were taken.
The magician then also takes a bunch of cards secretly making sure he takes more than the spectator.
Next, the magician asks the spectator to turn his back and count his cards silently so as to give no clue to the performer.
The magician counts his own at the same time then in a novel albeit roundabout way reveals the exact number of cards held by the spectator.
 

How the Trick is Done

When the magician counts his cards - say for example he has 17 cards. He takes 3 from the total making a new total of 14 then says to the spectator: "I've got as many as you....3 more .....and enough to make your number up to 14". He then asks the spectator to reveal how many cards he is holding and the prediction is proven true as the magician first deals out the number of cards to match the spectators total (in this case 10) - then three more - then enough to make the spectators total up to 14. (magician deals his remaining 4 cards).
This will work whatever number the spectator or magician is holding.
Another example: if the magician's total 20 then the he would say: "I've got as many as you....3 more .....and enough to make your number up to 17". He would then ask the spectator how many cards he is holding and on hearing "8" the magician would first deal out the number of cards to match the spectators total (in this case 8 - then three more - then enough to make the spectators total up to 17. (magician deals his remaining 9 cards).

Four Islands


Effect: There are four islands in an ocean. Each has a king, queen, a son named Jack (the Jack will be used,) and a dog named Ace (the Ace will be used.) One day, a hurricane storms through the ocean, creating complete chaos and wiping everything on the islands away. Finally, each king lands on his own island, each queen on her own island, etc.
Method:
To perform this trick, you need to remove all Kings, Queens, Jacks, and Aces. Create four "rows" of cards going down as you would in solitaire. Each row should have a King, Queen, Jack, and Ace all of one suit. Explain the setting as you set them up on their islands.
When you tell about the hurricane, sweep the cards up from the bottom of the "island" (the Ace) up. Do this to each row, in order from left to right. Hold the cards face down. The order will be King, Queen, Jack, Ace (of each suit.) Have a member of the audience cut the small deck in half, and complete the cut (top half of deck goes beneath the bottom half.) This may be done with several audience members. Don't let them make more than one cut at a time. Now just deal them out, one at a time, onto their four different islands (four piles.) If you have done it right, each island will have all of one type of card.

Kings Robbery


Start out by telling a story of four king thieves (have the Kings separated from the rest of the deck). One day the kings decide to rob their local Famous Store. The four kings fly their helicopter to the roof and begin to devise their plans. (As you say this, place the four Kings on the top of the deck.)
The first king says, "I'll take the clothes from the first floor" (Place the King on the bottom of the deck). The next king says, "Okay, I'll rob the second floor (Place the King somewhere in the middle, but near the bottom." The third king says, "Then I'll rob the third floor (Place the King somewhere above the second, but not on top.) The fourth king says, "I'll be the lookout. If I see some police coming, I'll whistle and you should all come up to the roof."
The kings begin to rob the store. However, the king on the roof sees the cops are starting to surround the store. So he gives the whistle (whistle - or scream or something, if you can't whistle) and the four kings all run up to the roof and fly away in their helicopter to safety (take the four cards off the top, one by one, revealing the four Kings!)
How it's done:
The whole trick is done right at the very beginning. Along with the four Kings you place on the top of the deck, you also place three other cards on top of those. When you show the Kings, keep the others hidden behind them, so it looks like there's only four Kings. When you put these together and put them on the "roof," and then move the three Kings to the various parts of the building, you're actually moving those three cards

Lucky 13


Effect: The magician takes a fresh deck of cards out of the box and shuffles them to demonstrate that they are in no particular order. He deals the cards into a bunch of piles, until the deck is cleared. There are 13 piles, and when he is done each of them contains all four cards of each suit!

Method:

The cards must be a fresh deck with the Jokers removed. Make sure the deck is in order like A,2,3... of each suit.
When you shuffle, you do it end over end. Actually, you are just cutting the deck every time. You must do it thirteen times. (Make sure you count it to yourself, not out loud.) Deal out thirteen cards. Once you are at thirteen go back to one and repeat. Do this until the deck is done, and you have thirteen piles of four cards each. Tap the cards, or make some other magical gesture, and flip over each pile. They are all together!

Appearing Card


Effect: A spectator picks a card out of a shuffled deck. You put it with three random cards, place the cards at the bottom of the deck, and shuffle. You take three cards from the bottom of the deck and ask the spectator if any of those are his. None are. These are laid on the table, one of the cards is flipped over, and the selection appears on the table.
How It's Done:
Ask a person to shuffle the cards and then choose one card. Have them give you the deck. Take three cards from the bottom. Tell the spectator to put their card on top of those three, then to place the four cards at the bottom of the deck.
Shuffle the deck, but be sure to keep the four bottom cards in the same spot. (Editor's note: There are false shuffles explained on theTerminology Page .) Shuffle the cards a couple of times. Now take the first bottom card and place it face down on the table. Take the new bottom card and put it at the top of the deck. Place the other two bottom cards face down on the table. The last card you put down is the spectator's card. Be sure you have that card at the top of the tabled pile. Set the rest of the deck aside.
Pick up the tabled cards. Square them up, and hold them so the spectator can see the face of just the bottom card. Ask if this is their card. They will say no. Lower the cards so they are in dealing position and quickly deal the top card (actually their card) onto the table. If you do this naturally, without comment, they will think you dealt the card you just showed them.
Show them the top card from those in your hand, and ask if it is theirs. Again they will say no. Lay this card on the table. Finally, show them the last card in your hand and ask if it's the selection. When they say no, put this card onto the other two. Ask them what their card was. When they tell you, use the other two cards (like a spatula) to flip their card face up on the table. You have made their card appear!

9 Cards


Effect: read the other persons mind.
  1. Two people who know the trick sit together at a table.
  2. One of them lays out 9 cards in rows of three.
  3. One of the “magicians” leaves the table
  4. The remaining “magician” asks a spectator to pick a card out of the 9 cards.
  5. Once he or she picks it, the other “magician” comes back to the table.
  6. The magician who asked the spectator to pick the card points to random cards and asks the other magician if that is the spectators card.
  7. The way the magician knows which card it is is... The way the other magician points at the cards.
Eventually, he points at a the card right in the middle, then the direction in which he points is their card.
For example, lets say the spectator picked the 8. The guy who asked the spectators would ask the guy who didn’t watch the spectator random cards and ask, “is this their card”. Obviously, the other guy would say no. But once he gets to the middle card, which is the five, he would point at the card toward the middle left. Then, he guesses which card it is.

Amazing Prediction


First Step: Spectator is asked to shuffle the deck, then remove any twelve cards of his choice from the pack and to further shuffle these twelve cards. Whilst this is being done the magician writes a prediction on a piece of paper he places face down on the table...

Method

After the first step, the spectator now takes any four cards from his selected twelve and lays them in a row face up on the table, the remaining eight cards are put with the rest of the pack. This is now taken up, and from it cards are dealt onto each of the face-up cards so as to bring its value to ten. For instance, if a four then six cards are to be dealt on top of it. All picture cards, however, are valued at ten so no cards are put on these.
This having been done, the total value of the four cards is ascertained. For example, supposing the four face-up cards happen to be the Three of Hearts, the Seven of Clubs the Jack of Spades and the Four of Diamonds, their total value would be twenty-four. The card which lies at that number is now counted down to in the pack that remains. When it is turned over, amazingly matches the original prediction.
This self-working card trick requires no skill and can be done with a borrowed pack as long as the pack is complete (has no missing cards).

How is it done?

The spectator shuffles the pack and removes any twelve cards and whilst he shuffles these you note the bottom card of the pack remaining; this is the prediction card. Write the name of this card on the paper and put it to one side. Tell the spectator to remove any four cards discarding the rest. Drop the bulk of the pack on top of these, this brings your prediction card ninth from the bottom. The spectator lays out his four cards and deals on each one, enough cards to make up ten. The total of the four face-up cards is obtained and this number counted down to and it will be the card you previously predicted.

A friend of mine had a job interview. After the interview was over, he spotted a deck of cards lying on the interviewer’s desk. He picked up the deck and asked the interviewer if he likes card magic tricks. The interviewer answered that he does. My friend then performed a cool card trick he knew - This n’ That. The interviewer was amazed, and asked him to teach him that trick. Needles to say he got that job.

The Spelling Card Trick


A very clever self working trick secret which usually baffles your audience.
Effect: The magician shuffles the deck and takes the top thirteen cards. Holding the cards face down, he proceeds to spell the first card name, Ace. "A C E," and for each letter, he puts one card under the packet of thirteen cards. He then flips over the next card (the fourth,) and it is an Ace.
He repeats this process for each card number, Ace through King. At the end, he has all thirteen cards face up on the table, in sequential order.
Preparation: First, take out 13 cards from a deck, the cards do not have to be the same suit, but you need the thirteen cards from Ace to King. After you have them out, place them in this order, begin by placing the three face-up on the table. On top of that, place the eight. Then, place the Seven, Ace, Queen, Six, Four, Two, Jack, King, Ten, Nine, and last of all Five. And then put these on top of the deck face down.
Performance: The trick almost works itself. To start, pretend to shuffle the cards, leaving the top thirteen untouched. You can do some false shuffles, or you can do real shuffles but keep the top 13 cards on top.
After you shuffle, you can fan through the deck, and show every card, for the pre-arranged 13 cards don't look like they are arranged at all. Remove the top thirteen cards as a group and arrange them like a fan, so that your audience can see their faces. Square up the cards, and hold them face down.
When you spell out each card, do it as follows: let's say you're spelling the word . SpellA, remove the top card and place it on the bottom. Then spell C, and remove the top card and place that on the bottom. Next spell E, remove this top card and place it on the bottom. Flip the new top card and show that it's an Ace, and place it on the table.
Continue in this manner until all the cards are face up on the table. (You spell the cards in order: Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K) Your audience may realize that the cards must have been set up beforehand, but this only adds to the mystery and you can treat it as a puzzle for them to try to figure out to add to the mystery, don't use cards all of the same suit. A mixed group of suits makes it seem less like a "stacked" deck.

All The Aces Card Cut Trick


An easy card cut trick where your spectator cuts the deck into several piles, only to find that the aces have magically risen to the top of each pile.

Preparation: Before performing this magic trick, remove the four aces from the deck and place them on the top of the deck.
Method: To begin the trick, you, the magician, ask your spectator to divide the deck into four equal piles by dropping cards off the bottom of the deck.

Keep your eye on the pile that contains the four aces. It may be either on the left side or on the right side. Next, ask your spectator to pick up a non-ace pile and hold it in their hand. Ask them to take 3 cards from the top of the pile and place them on the bottom. Next, ask them to take another 3 cards from the top of the pile and place them one on each on the top of each of the other piles.

Now, ask your spectator to repeat the same procedure for next two non-ace piles.
Finally you ask them to do carry out the same procedure for the pile that contains the aces. Now invite them to turn over the top card from each pile. Amazingly, the top cards should be the four aces !!!

Mathematics Calculator Card Trick



This is a good self working card trick I find very useful when a spectator makes it impossible for you to do a regular trick.
I call the trick, The Mathematics Calculator as the trick requires your audience to calculate the answer to the trick.
Method:Ask a person to choose a card. tell him to remember it's numerical value (Ace = one, Jack- = 11, Queen = 12, King = 13)   Also to remember the suit of the card.
Tell them to double the value of the card.
Then tell them to add three to the total.
Then tell them to multiply the complete total by five.
Next, ask them to concentrate on the suit.
If the card is a diamond they must add one.
If the card is a club they must add two.
If the card is a heart they must add three.
If the card is a spade they must add four.
They must then tell you the final total.
From this total, you immediately know the chosen card.
The Secret: Is to mentally subtract 15 from the given total. You will have a number of two figures,  possibly three
The last figure gives you the suit (diamonds 1, clubs 2, hearts 3, spades 4.) while the first figure gives you the suit.
Example: Jack of clubs
11 doubled is 22, add 3--25, multiply by 5--125. add for clubs--makes 127. You are told that number.
Subtract 15 mentally. Result 112. Last figure (2) means clubs, first figure(11) means Jack.

------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trick#26 This is an easy trick that can be learned easily.Shuffle the cards and tell the person to hold the deck facing you. Tell the person to give you whatever the first card is from the back. For example, if there is a 2 of hearts you say "2 of hearts from the back" and tell the person to give you the last card and not to look at it.Place it down and tell the person to remember the card u said but dont show it to them.Look at the card and whatever it is tell them to give it to you from the middle. For example, if the card at the back was a 4 of spades you say "4 of spades from the middle" and tell the person to give you any card from the middle. Look at the card and tell them to remember the card but dont show it. Look at the card and whatever it is tell them to give it to you from the front. For example, if the card at the middle was an ace of spades you say "ace of spades from the front" and tell the person to give you the first card. Look at the card and tell them to remember the card but done show it. Now there should be three cards face down on the surface. You should point out the cards as you had said in the begining then blow the cards ( just something to make you look magical or something). Turn the cards over and there they are! The same cards in different order. Keeps em thinking! ----------

--------------------------------------------- Trick#25 1. shuffle the deck of cards 2. take the 1st 3 cards and put them on the table, face down 3. tell the person to pick any card and put it on top of those 3 cards 4. next you put the deck on top of those 4 cards 5. then you hold up the deck so they can see the bottom card and you ask them if that is their card and they will say no, so you put the card on the bottom face down on the table. 6. next you put the next card that is showing on the bottom on top of the deck. 7. here is the tricky part, you show them the next card and ask them if it is their card and they will say no so you slip the card after it on the table which is their card and put the one that you would have showed them on the top 8. do the same thing that i said for num. 6 two more times 9. you put the deck full of cards off to the side and take the 4 cards and make sure the third card is theirs and then you ask them if the card on the bottom is their card and the will say no 10. so you put the bottom card on the table, then you ask them if the next card is theirs and they will say no so you secretly slip the next card after the card you showed them on the table which is their card 11. then you say the next two cards aren't yours right, and they will say right 12. finally you have the 4 cards spread out on the table and you turn up the card that you secretly siped down and show them it, the card has changed right before their eyes, and they will be stunned. 13. the card that you showed them was theirs!!!! -------

trick 24

----------------------------------------------------------------------- Trick#24 Seperate the deck into three equal piles. Tell the other person to pick off the top of one of the piles. When they memorize the card have them put it back. Take the pile on which they set their card and put it on top of another pile. Get the card nestled in your hand so you can pick it up easily. Quickly move it to the last pile left and put that pile on top of the other two. Flick the top of the deck(for effect)and show them the top card. Practice this to get it perfect. -----------------------------------

----------------------------------- Trick#23 Simplest trick I know. Take a deck of cards in any order.Look at the bottom card and memorize it. Fan out the cards and have someone pick a card. Tell them to remember it. Now tell them to put the card on the bottom of the deck. Cut the deck in half placing the bottom half on the top. Now just look for the card you memorized (the bottom card), and what ever card is in front of it is the persons card. ---------

------------------------ Trick#22 Ok, for this trick, you'll have to first shuffle the deck. Then, do some fancy trick that lets you see the top card. After that, declare that for the next trick, you will cut the deck up into piles, and then predict what the top card is. Now, for the next step, whatever you do, DON'T SHUFFLE THE DECK. Why? Here's why: remember I told you to remember the top card of the deck? Well, picking up, let's say, half the deck, cut that half up, but make sure you don't put any cards over the top card that you know what it is. Now, let's say you have 7 piles of cards. Tell someone from the audience to write down the cards you read out.*Remember where you put the top card*! Pick up the top card from one of the decks (not the one you know) and say it is the 7 of diamonds (or whatever the top card was). Let's say this card was the 6 of clubs. Next, pick up another card. Say it's the 6 of clubs. It's really not, in fact, it's the 5 of hearts (supposedly). Next card you pick up, it's the 5 of hearts that you say, but you pick up the top card (you can do this longer, but it'll get boring). Give the cards to a member of the audience, and ask them if those were the cards you picked out. That's the trick. Just one thing tho, you have to practice to act naturally. If you don't, and you pause to look at the card you picked up to often, it won't look so good. ---------------------------------------------

trick 21

----------------- Trick#21 This trick takes some minor preparation... First you take out the 6 of hearts, 6 of diamonds, 9 of hearts, and the 9 of diamonds. Place the 6 of hearts on the top of the deck, and the 9 diamonds on the bottom (or you can do the opposite: 9 hear, 6 diamond-which ever you prefer). Now for the trick: with the other 2 cards not already placed you quickly show the spectator and ask them to place those cards anywhere in the deck they want, then place the deck on the table to prove you weren't holding the cards. Once done you say something about "magically taking the cards from the center of the deck" and place fingers firmly on the top and bottom card and "toss" the rest of the deck into your other hand. This does take practice, so don't show someone until you've tried it a few times or you'll blow the trick. --------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------ Trick#20 First you need 4 Aces 4 Jacks 4 Queens and 4 Kings.Then you take the Queens and lay them out then you take the Jacks and lay them on top then you take theKings and lay them out Then you take the Aces and lay them on top.then you take them and shuffle and lay them out like you just did only the Aces will be on top of each other. ---------------------------------------------------------------

------------ Trick#19 Here's a trick. The person shuffles the deck. Then they they put the top card in a book or envelope that you show them. (Say "There's no possible way since you shuffled it.) You take a piece a paper from somewhere and that's there card! Answer: When you put the book on top of the deck, there is a card under it. That card will go on the top when you show the book. Before anything starts, write the card (ex. 5 diamonds) on the piece of paper that you show at the end. --------

------------------------ Trick#18 First you have to know the bottom(A way I like to find out is say something like, "To do this trick I have to remove my bad luck.(queen of spades) As you go through the deck looking for it memorize the bottom card.) Now all you have to do is force a card on that person making them think they chose it. Do the following steps to force a card on the. *the bottom card is what you are going to force on them* eg. card 5 of clubs 1. ask them to pick 2 suits eg Hearts and Diamonds. Note if the suits they pick aren't they one that your forced card is say "that leaves spades and clubs, pick one of those.) IF the suits they pick are one of the cards say "pick one of those two suites. continue using this until you get to in this case clubs. 2. now name four different cards from that suit (it doesn't matter which ones just make sure the forced card is one of them.) 3. Narrow it down so that the 5 of clubs is there card. Next ask them how many cards they want you to pul until you get to the 5 of clubs. (mae sure you draw them from the bottom) Now here is the tricky part which takes some practice. When you go to take the cards from the bottom you want to make sure you pull the second card from the bottom because the bottom is their card. To do this slightly slid the bottom card towards you and just grab the edge of the second card. This is a sleight called the glide. now just repeat the glide until you get to the number they picked and pull the bottom card which is The 5 of clubs. This a good trick but only do it once to someone. This trick takes some practice ,but has a great final effect --------------------------------------------------------------------

------- Trick#17 To do my trick you first have to look at the bottom card before you show a friend. Then spread the pack of cards on the table but don't forget where the bottom card is and what it is. When you have all your cards down tell the person to pick out the the bottom card name but dont tell them where it is the could pick whatever card they want. When they pick the card tell them not to look at it then give it to you. When you look at the card tell them to pick the card that you have in your hand don't show it to them. Repeat that one mare time then tell them that I am going to pickout the the card that I remembered where it was and what it is. Then show them the cards at the end and it will be the cards that you told them to pick. IT'S A GREAT TRICK -----------------

---------- Trick#16 My trick is called the spelling test. Before starting you must get 13 cards ace to king. Set it in this order.3,8,7,ace,queen,6,4,2,jack,king,10,9 from top to bottom. Start by spelling ace one card each letter. Example: a-c-e put three cards under t-w-o put three under again. and so on. ------------------------------------

---------- Trick#15 This is a really cool trick and it's pretty easy too! 1. Look at the bottom card 2. Fan out the cards and tell your helpful helper to pick a card. 3. After he/she picks a card, cut the deck and tell the person to put the card on the top of the first half of the deck. 4. Then put the second half of the deck on the first half and tell them that their body heat is so hot that when you touch their card, it will burn your hand. 5. Look threw the deck untill you come to the bottom card, their card will be the card before or after depending on how you looked for it. -------------

---------- Trick#14 Okay put the cards black red black red through the whole pack. Tell a person to pick a card any card. Tell them to remeber it. Tell them to put the card any where in the deck. Then look through the deck the cards that are the same color right next to each other. You have to take a wild guess but usually it is the first one. --------------

Trick#13 This trick requires no preparation, no fancy moves, and should only ever be shown once to a group. Fan out the whole deck of 52 cards with the backs to your audience. Tell you chosen but unknowing accomlice that it is in fact he or she that is magical and that he/she is going to tell you the colour particular cards that he/she hasn't seen. Place 2 cards down face up on the table as the 1st cards in 2 piles. One is red, the other black. Select a card from the pack and place it on the table without showing it's colour to the auydience or your assistant. Ask your assistant which colour he thinks it is and place it on the pile (still face down) he suggests. Repeat this for about 10 cards but make sure you keep choosing the same colour as your 1st card. After 10 pull out 2 more cards of differtn colours and place them face up on the pile of the opposite colour. Tell your assistant that you want to change the colour of each pile. Continue selecting cards from the deck as before only this time choose cards of the opposit colour you were choosing before. Do this for another 10 or so and put the rest of the deck down. Ask your assistant how confident he is and flip over the pile of cards where the marker cards actually match the other cards you have put down on top of them. While your assistant look amazedly ad his great work deftly pull the marker card in the middle of the other pile and flip over the other pile. Throw the marker card on top and flip over the remaining marker card and deftly flick it of the pile. This will give the illusions that as with the other pile your assistant has succesfully predicted the colour of over 20 cards. Give it a go....no practice neccessary. ---------------------------------------------------

----------- Trick#12 The Three Thieves Someone at school actually showed me this trick and I must admit it was very impressive and yet so simple. You take a normal deck of playing cards and you take out three of the Jacks, making sure you rig the cards by placing the fourth Jack at the bottom of the pile. Place the deck of cards on a table and tell your audience that the deck represents a house Then flash the three Jacks before the audience's eyes very quickly, and tell them : "Three Jacks - they are the three thieves." "The first thief enters the house from the roof" and out one of the Jacks on top of the deck. "The second thief enters the house from the ground floor" and shove the second Jack somewhere into the middle of the deck. "The third thief enters from the basement" and place the last Jack under the bottom of the deck. Tell the audience that he is the policeman and that it is his job to apprehend all three thieves together. Tell him to cut the deck, placing the bottom half on top of the first half. Then tell him to take the deck, fan it out, and lo and behold, the three Jacks are found all in a row... ---------

-- Trick#11 Look at the bottom card and memorize it. Now fan the cards out. Tell them to pick whatever card thats at the bottom out of the cards and slide it to you do it without looking at it. Now tell them to pick whatever card they slid out and slide it to you. Now say I will take the one they just slid out of the deck and then take the bottom card. Now you should have all the cards you requested. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

rick#10 Count out 21 cards. Then make 3 rows of 7. Ask someone to pick a card but only tell youwhat row it is in.. always place the row they picked between the other 2.. Repeat 3 times.. Now count out 11 cards.. It should be there card if done right.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trick#9 This is another great Card Trick its where 4 kings will rise from the pack to the top of the deck with one slap of the cards. You will have to rig the pack before you start you will need to find all four kings, fan out all four kings in your hand and put any four cards of your choice neatly behind the last King so that you cannot see them. Tell the person who you are doing it to that these 4 Kings walk into a Hotel, place the fanned out Kings and the cards behind them on top of the deck. Say that all 4 kings want different rooms place the first card of the top onto the bottom, and do the same with the other 4 cards putting them anywhere in the deck of your choice. Having the cards face down as you do it as not to show them the rig cards. Now tell them that one day there was a big earthquake slap the cards on a side of a table as to simulate an earthquake. Say that the force was so great that all the kings got pushed to the top. Now show them the top 4 cards they should all be kings(if you have done the trick right that is). ------------------

Trick#8 Here is a neat little trick if it is performed correctly. First, before the trick take the deck and divide them into red and blacks. Then, take the two decks of red and black, BUT DO NOT TELL THE PERSON ABOUT IT BEING DIVIDED THE WAY IS, and ask the person to choose a deck. Now, fan out the deck and ask the person to choose a card and place it anywhere in the deck. Now all you have to do is shuffle the deck then look at all the cards in that deck and whatever card is different in color thats their card!!! ----------------

Trick#7 This is one of my favorite tricks which if done right will have the person you are doing it on in complete and utter amazement(or if you get it wrong your look like a complete fool so make sure you practice it. They will be able to pick a card and you will be able to tell them what their card is!!! Give the pack of cards to the person you are doing the trick on and ask them to shuffle the pack as much as they want. Take back the cards and fan them out ask them to pick any card they want, tell them to look at it and remember what that card is. Tell them to put the card on top of the deck, behind your back take the top card and place it on the bottom of the deck. Hold up the pack of cards in front your face so that you can see the bottom card remember this card because it is there, and say that when you put the deck down you want the person to tell you whether that is there card on top(this is just to throw them of the scent). When they say now that it not my card, tell the person that you are making it to easy in that case, split the pack so that the bottom card ends up in the middle and invite them to shuffle the deck. Fan out the cards and show them there card, its as simple as that just remember to practice it before you do it. ---------------

Trick#6 Take out all the (EACH SUIT)aces, king, queens, jacks, and the 10's. Now set them up like this. bottom now do this for all the suits ace king queen jack 10 top Now tell the spectator to cut the cards....tell them to cut ti once each time.....not to cut the deck more than once ( like more than one pile) this will ruin the trick. Now deal out the cards in 5 piles...from left to right every time....Now if performed right all the aces...kings.....queens....jacks...and 10's will be in there separate piles..all kings in one...etc. ---------------------------

Trick#5 Separate the colours from black and red. Tell the person to pick a card from any colour but don't let them know that it is separated. While they look at the card tell them to write it down so when they are writing it down switch the colour decks and when they are done. Tell the person to put it in the deck anywhere. Then you can shuffle it or not but you can easily find that card because that card will be standing out. ---------------------------------------------------------

Trick#4 First you need a deck of cards with a word on it. Put the cards the right way. Ask them to pick a card and look at it. when they put it in make sure they put it in upside down. tell them you will find there card without looking at the bottom. there is only one card that is upside down that is there card. ------------

Trick#3     2 Tricks Name:Mind Reading Effect:A spectator chooses a card and puts it back into the deck on the top. The magician then finds the card instantly. Secret:When the spectator chooses a card and look at it,look at the bottom card and memorize it. This will be your key card.After the spectator places the card back on the top,cut the deck and go through the deck. The card right after your key card will be the spectator's card. Name:Appearing aces Effect:The spectator cuts the deck into 4 parts.Then, the magician places them side by side.He takes the first part,places three cards from the top to the bottom,then deals one card onto each of the other parts.He then repeats for the other parts.After that,he turns over the top card of each part and they are all aces! Preparation:Put the 4 aces on the top of the deck. Secret:This trick is selfworking.Just follow the instructions given in the effect and it works by it self! ------------------

Trick#2 Ok here is my trick. You take out a small packet of eleven cards from a deck. The proceed to deal the first card into a spectators hand and places the next card underneath the packet and then you repeat this process until all cards are dealt. Then turning over the packet the spectator notices they are all in order of Ace to jack. You repeat the process several more times and other cool combos come up. For example: odds together and evens together,hearts and spades, etc. and finally it regroups itself into the original ace to jack. Secret---It is more a puzzle than a trick so it is all the the initial arrangement. Reading from the top down place this sequence of eleven cards: 6 of spades,10 of clubs, 5 of clubs, 8 of spades, 4 of clubs, jack of diamonds, 3 of diamonds, seven of hearts, 2 of hearts, 9 of diamonds, and ace of hearts. Now place it on the rest of the deck and you set for the trick. Pick up the deck and deal off the top eleven cards, one at a time, this reverses the order. now put the first card face up in the spectators hand and the next face down on the bottom of the packet. and do as told in the effect on the first paragraph!!!!!! ----------

Trick#1 To do my trick you rig the deck by putting all of the cards face down except for the bottom one. You fan out the cards and ask the person you are doing the trick on to pick a card(when they pick don't let them see that the bottom card of the deck is face up) When they have there card tell them to focus really hard on the deck. When they are focusing on the deck you flip the deck over. They cannot tell you flipped it over because the bottom card is now face down and it appears that the deck is the same. Now you tell them to push there card into the deck somewhere in the middle. When they have done that you put the cards behind your back and flip the top card over. You now bring the cards out and spread them face down on the table. There card should be the only one facing up and they are amazed!

Science is my favorite class, but I never thought that this period that is already fun, would teach magic tricks whose fun goes over the border! And they’re not just tricks, but they’re science filled too! Here are a few of them: The spinning gyroscope in a swivel chair makes it spin; a coin is on top of a card on top of a cup. Flick the card – the coin stays in place & falls in the cup; A water bottle has a hole in its side, if the top is closed, the water doesn't come out. If it’s open, it does.
The gyroscope tick works like this. When a gyroscope is spun (like the wheel of a bike) and then is spun horizontally (like the steering wheel of a bike connected to the wheel) and is placed on a spinning platform (like a swivel chair) and the steering wheel is pointing horizontally – then the chair with anyone inside will spin also. This is caused by the spinning forces created by the gyroscope. As we know, if a spinning gyroscope’s axle is pushed down, then the gyroscope will go left/right (depending on which way it is spinning) instead of down. Therefore, since the axle it will turn left/right on when pushed down is the swivel chair, when one of the gyroscope’s sides is pushed down, it will push at a 90° angle, causing the chair to turn.
The “Flick the card” trick goes as follows: When a card is placed on a plastic cup, and then a coin placed on top of the card, a person can flick the card with his/her finger. Then the card will slip away from underneath the coin and fly away, while the coin stays in place and falls into the cup. This happens because the inertia of the card does not transfer fully to the coin, because the coin wants to stay in place, like stated in Newton’s first law of motion. The friction between the card & coin is not strong enough to create an unbalanced force that could keep the coin moving at the same speed as the card.
Finally, the water bottle trick is explained this way: for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Therefore, when the water is pushed out of the hole, something else must come back into the bottle. Since the entire hole is used for going out, the top hole is used for coming in. That says that if we close he top hole, then nothing could come in, and if nothing could come in, then nothing could come out. Therefore, the water stays in the bottle.
All of these tricks are breathtakingly interesting, but since we know how they work, science has made them very simple. However, if we think of the tricks and the science behind them separately, then they seem as amazing as the creation of the first DNA! Science is my favorite subject, but the magic tricks involved make it just amazingly amazing. These tricks will stay in my memory for long to come, and I will teach all of them to my friends and relatives.

Ace Shake Trick


This trick was performed in David Blaines second special where he made the spectator sign a card, the card was put back in the pack and was made to appear from between two aces.    
The only real skills necessary are good verbal communications and misdirection. Richard Marcus a renowned card cheat always emphasized the importance of misdirection. It was an invaluable tool as all of his casino moves have their foundation in this technique.

Secret: Give the spectator, the two red aces and tell them to hold them.
Fan out the deck and tell the spectator to touch a card.
Square the deck up leaving their card stuck out to be signed and shown.
Now you secretly put the card into " palm position " when you square up the deck so you can easily palm the card when you want to.
It must stick out of the lower corner of the pack meeting your inner thumb .
Let them sign the card and then hand them the deck, secretly palming their card.
After they are convinced that the card is well lost in the deck, ask for the two aces and sandwich the face down palmed card between the aces, showing only the aces face up.
Tell them to hold the deck openly and start to shake the aces  directly over the pack, tell them to watch their card rise from the deck into the two aces, shake a little more loosely and watch as to their amazement, their signed card appears from between the aces .

Three Card Showdown Trick
